Description
There is no difference of opinion that the revival of the Muslim Ummah and its rise to honor is not possible without returning to the Holy Qur’an. For this, it is essential that the message of the Qur’an reaches the Ummah in the same manner as it reached those who were its first addressees. Undoubtedly, this task demands great effort and struggle. Respected Khurram Murad devoted his life to understanding the message of the Qur’an and making it widely known.
For this purpose, under the arrangements of Dairat-ul-Ta‘leem wa Tarbiyah, he initiated an eight-day Qur’anic training camp in which participants from across the country would attend and benefit. In each program, he taught selected portions of the Qur’an on specific topics according to a defined syllabus, so that participants could absorb their meanings and concepts in a way that enabled them to convey them to others. He himself delivered a model fifteen-minute lesson on the selected portion, providing guidance that even without lengthy lectures, the true message of the Qur’an can be conveyed to the common Muslim in a simple and appealing manner.
Idara Manshoorat is now presenting these very lessons in book form after arranging and editing them. It is hoped that this concise book will fulfill the need of Islamic movement workers for understanding the Qur’an.
